National Disability Day

National Disability Day of Persons with Disabilities is dedicated to promoting the rights, well-being, and full inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of life. It also serves as a platform to raise awareness about the challenges they face and to recognize their valuable contributions to society.

In Pakistan, this day is observed annually on July 7, marking the country’s commitment to disability rights following the ratification of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) on July 7, 2011, by the President of Pakistan.
